Managing Director of Industrial Automation Group to Speak at World’s Largest RFID Event

Henk de Graaf, Managing Director of Western Australian based business, Industrial Automation, will be a speaker at the RFID Journal LIVE!’s 11th annual conference and exhibition.

RFID Journal, a bi-monthly publication and online news resource, is one of the best global sources for RFID information. The journal holds educational conferences around the world with RFID Journal LIVE! being the world’s largest RFID event.  Held this year from 30 April – 2 May at the Orange County Convention Centre in Orlando, Florida, end users will gather from all corners of the globe to learn how to best utilize RFID technology.

“We have been working on a unique method of integrating standard inventory management software with RFID technology that will significantly advance current inventory management systems,” said Mr de Graaf.

“By amalgamating the capabilities of long-range RFID tags and readers with advanced software, companies will not only be able to instantaneously check their actual stock levels, they will be able to determine exactly where that stock is being held.  I’m looking forward to speaking about this new technology.”

RFID based Inventory Management (RIMS) enables the monitoring of equipment from manufacturer to end user without the need for manual entering of data along the supply chain thereby enhancing the reliability of stock level data and potentially saving companies millions of dollars through better inventory management.

The fact that the hardware used in this system allows tag reading from 100 m distance means that large areas can be monitored with relatively small monitoring equipment quantities, making it a cost efficient decision for companies to implement this exciting new development in Inventory Management.
